Where we work.

A unit in Paignton, a mobile service across Torbay, Devon and throughout the UK, and a clear answer on which of the two your job needs.

Two ways of working

We work two ways. There is a dedicated unit at the Yelberton Trading Estate in Paignton, and there is a fully mobile service that travels to the vehicle. Which one your job uses is decided by the work, not by your postcode — correction and ceramic coating need controlled lighting and a clean space to cure, so they happen at the unit. Maintenance, deep cleans and fleet work travel perfectly well.

Unit, mobile, or further afield

At the unit

Controlled lighting, a dust-free space and no weather. Everything that involves machine polishing or a coating happens here, because a coating needs hours of undisturbed curing and correction needs light you cannot get on a driveway.

Suits —

Paint correction, ceramic coating, executive details, anything multi-day.

Mobile to you

The vehicle is worked on where it sits — a domestic driveway, an office car park or a dealer forecourt. The service has been mobile since late 2014 and covers Torbay, Devon and throughout the UK. Tell us what is available at your location when you book and we will confirm what the visit needs.

Suits —

Maintenance details, deep cleans, interiors, fleet and pre-sale preparation.

Further afield

Available throughout the UK, and our insurance covers vehicles from family cars to supercars — and yachts up to 100 metres. Work outside the South West is arranged case by case rather than priced from a table.

Suits —

National fleets, specialist and high-value vehicles, and work outside the South West.

Which one applies is settled at assessment stage — our process page sets out the full sequence from first call to handover.

Torbay

Our home ground, and a genuinely hard environment for paint. Salt air is relentless and undramatic — it does its damage over months rather than in a single event.

Paignton

Home base

The unit is at Unit 1, 4 Higher Yalberton Road, Paignton, Devon, TQ4 7PD. Paignton cars live with sea air year-round, and salt-laden wind does more quiet damage to unprotected paint and brightwork than most owners realise — it is why protection sells here on practicality rather than vanity.

Torquay

About 10 minutes

The closest thing Torbay has to a supercar postcode, and the source of a good share of our correction and coating work. Hotel and seafront parking means cars sit exposed to salt spray and gull mess for long stretches, both of which etch lacquer quickly if they are left.

Brixham

About 15 minutes

Working harbour, steep lanes and constant salt. Brixham vehicles come to us with more bonded contamination than almost anywhere else we cover, so decontamination tends to be the substantial part of the job rather than an opening formality.

Torbay generally

Across the bay

Preston, Goodrington, Churston, Galmpton and the villages between them. Short journeys, coastal air and limited off-street parking — the combination that produces the swirl marks and water spotting we spend most of our week removing.

Devon and the wider South West

Regular territory rather than exceptions. Distance changes the logistics, not the standard — the same accreditation and the same process apply whether a car comes from two miles away or fifty.

Newton Abbot

About 20 minutes

A steady stream of trade and private work, and close enough that dropping a car in for multi-day correction is no real inconvenience.

Totnes

About 25 minutes

Country lanes, hedge scratching and farm traffic. Single-panel damage from overgrown lanes is the local speciality, and it is often correctable rather than a bodyshop job — worth having assessed before assuming the worst.

Dartmouth and the South Hams

About 40 minutes

Marine environment, boat trailers and cars that sit unused between visits. Protection earns its keep here more than anywhere: a coated car left standing for a month cleans up in an afternoon rather than needing correction.

Exeter

About 45 minutes

Motorway miles mean tar, iron fallout and stone chipping rather than coastal salt. Different contamination, different chemistry, same process — and a regular route for dealer and trade preparation work.

Dealers, brokers and specialists across this area are handled through trade services, which runs to agreed turnaround rather than retail booking slots.

Travel and access

Travel is built into the quote rather than added afterwards. How much, if anything, depends on distance and the size of the job — a full day of work absorbs a journey that a 90-minute maintenance visit does not. You will know at quote stage, not after.

Most correction and coating work comes to the unit, because it needs controlled lighting and undisturbed curing time. If getting the car to Paignton is the obstacle, say so when you enquire — it is worth a conversation rather than an assumption, and we would rather find a way than lose the job over logistics.

Somewhere to park the vehicle safely with enough space to work all the way around it, and ideally shade — direct sun is the one thing that genuinely limits what can be done well outdoors. Let us know what water and power access you have when you book, and we will tell you straight away whether the job suits a mobile visit or belongs at the unit.

Yes. Fleet maintenance runs from £50 per vehicle, and a discount applies to more than three vehicles completed in one day at a single location — which is why we would rather come to you than have vehicles sent over one at a time.

Not on the list?

Ask anyway. Available throughout the UK, and work outside the South West is arranged case by case. Call 01803 362002 — the unit is at 4 Higher Yalberton Rd, Paignton. Cars from across Devon are in our recent work, and their owners left the reviews.
